Steve qualified with a top-20 firm. He has 20 years of post-qualification experience.
He previously managed the accounts and audit department for a large London firm.
He has a wealth of knowledge and experience based on working with sole traders, small and medium-sized companies and complex international groups.
Areas of expertise include: corporation tax, personal tax, management accounts and numerous ad hoc projects.

Advised a management buyout client and subsequently prepared the management accounts covering the remaining earn-out period.
Advised on a company’s cessation, liaising with and sourcing a liquidator to ensure that the company’s reserves could be withdrawn in the most tax-efficient manner.
Assisted a client in transitioning from a previous advisor whom the client never saw. He now has quarterly meetings to discuss the company’s position. He ensures the business runs smoothly – reducing stress for the two business directors.
He identified a sole trader did not need VAT registration – enabling the client to reduce their prices.
Advised clients ahead of their year-end to purchase capital items to reduce their tax burden.
Completed a same-day tax return on 31 January to avoid penalties and reduce the client’s stress.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time on the golf course and watching as much motorsport as he can.
