Clare has worked with the firm since 2008 initially working in the accounts department.  In 2012 Clare moved to the tax department and focused on individuals and sole trader’s tax returns.

In 2017 she transferred to the payroll department where she is now the payroll manager and responsible for running an array of payrolls ranging from weekly, fortnightly, monthly and annual payrolls for a range of clients such as sole traders, carers, partnerships, limited companies and charities.

She is responsible for running a variety of payrolls for businesses and does so in a timely and accurate manner.  Clare takes pride in her work and will ensure clients are confident with the calculations and is more than happy to discuss queries over the phone or in person to make payroll less daunting to the client.

She has dealt with many aspects of payroll including auto-enrolment workplace pensions, submitting declarations with The Pensions Regulator, liaising with HMRC, setting up new PAYE schemes, CIS, Statutory Sick Pay, Maternity/Paternity Pay and assisting clients with BACS payments.  Clare always aims to provide the best possible service for our clients.

Outside of work Clare enjoys spending time with her family, reading crime thrillers and going to watch live comedy
