based on my own opinion, I believe they are manipulative and a semi-criminal firm because I believe they changed my company addresses fraudulently signing against my will, i reported this to action fraud. I DO NOT TRUST THEM, they chased me for bills that they claimed to do but over priced it 100x!

Living abroad made it very hard to deal with the black hole of unhelpfulness that is HMRC effectively. Eventually we hired Johnsons, who responded professionally and with well thought out inquiries to our first email. Once we had explained our situation, Johnsons went to work and secured refunds for some fines.

Most importantly, Johnsons removed the uncertainty and ambiguity HMRC's outlandish processes inflict on ordinary folks like us. In the words of my wife 'best money we ever spent'.

If you need someone to sort out your tax, look no further.

First of all they advertised as based in southall but they nowhere near southall. False advertising. Secondly they were very rude on the phone.

Needed urgent advice and help, called Johnson’s UK and spoke to Stuart. He instantly made feel better, gave me excellent and clear advice and a way to move forward, can’t thank Johnson’s and Stuart enough

Following an excellent initial interaction, communication from my tax accountant literally stopped. I received no updates on how my dossier was progressing, and having spent several weeks preparing all necessary documentation, I was loathe to start again elsewhere. I eventually made a complaint to Edmund, a senior member of the team, and was met with nebulous responses, none of which provided any detail about why things had come to a standstill, nor the status of the discussions and projects which were ongoing. A complete lack of basic client service and communication across the board, there appears to be no people management nor oversight of how clients are managed.
This sub standard client service continues and I have waited 3 weeks for a response to my last email and have now requested a formal internal investigation report. The next step will be to follow the complaints procedure as set out by ACCA.

I needed to get advice urgently and approached Johnson’s. I received a return call within with half an hour and spoke to Stuart Thomson. He was able to give superb detailed advice. Very knowledgable and able to direct me clearly and help me make the decision I needed to make. Very impressed.

We had a particular issue we needed advice on. We were able to easily organise a zoom meeting with Stuart Thomson who quickly grasped our situation and provided us with the information we needed. Even calling back later to clarify a couple of points. We were very impressed.

I emailed Johnsons with a general query about Capital Gains Tax. Stuart Thomson, the Group MD, replied very promptly and with some very helpful input and didn't even charge me. I was really impressed and very grateful. It reminded me of the good old days when professionals, such as accountants, lawyers, estate agents, etc, saw themselves as part of the local community and not just business people. Very reassuring.

I have been using Johnsons Chartered Accountant for the last 20 years mainly for accountancy. Johnsons genuinely care about the business, VAT returns, payrolls, fast and simple payment procedures etc. A great tax advisor that understand your business first. I have also been given valuable advices on some areas of my business.
As for the most recent my experience was buying a new house.
Even despite some challenges from my bank along the way, the team handled all difficulties for me, ensured all documents required were quickly seen, right and responded. They worked tirelessly to get me the best loan rate and package available.
